Our Team

I founded Hernandez Financial in 2011, after a twelve-year career with a national investment advisory firm. Being an independent Investment Advisor has allowed me to build a business that focuses on my client’s needs, while placing their interests ahead of a faceless corporation. I use the financial planning process to help my clients set goals and create a plan to achieve them. I enjoy getting to know my clients and what is important to them, while also earning their trust. This career has given me the opportunity to meet some exceptional people while helping them achieve financial independence.

I hold the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College of Financial Services and an AA in business from Yakima Valley College. I am constantly on the lookout to learn new strategies to help my clients achieve their goals. What I enjoy most about this career is that there is always something new to learn.

In my leisure time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, gardening, and cooking on the grill.

I am Jesse’s Administrative Assistant and the voice you will most likely hear on the phone when you call the office. I have several years of experience in office management and have been working at Hernandez Financial since the summer of 2022. Meeting the clients has become a fun part of my job and knowing that we are helping families to secure their financial futures for themselves, and their loved ones, is important to me. After losing my dad I have realized the importance of ensuring that accounts and documents are in order, for the sake of the surviving family members. Helping other families be prepared for life and its many events has proven to be rewarding. I look forward to welcoming you to the Hernandez Financial Family.  

I was born and raised in the Lower Yakima Valley. I am an SHS graduate and attended Yakima Valley College. I am licensed in Life & Health Insurance for the State of Washington and am a Notary Public.  My husband and I have two boys and two pups and we love spending family time together. Family means everything to me. I enjoy traveling together, game nights and family BBQ’s. I also enjoy gardening, reading, crafting, and operating my own two businesses in my spare time.
